DARTZ.EU is privately owned company located in main heart of Europe – Riga, Latvia. Company was founded at 1988 by Leonard F. Yankelovich and first in former USSR countries start to deal with window and bank equipment manufacturing. Selling wellknown American window film brand products DARTZ very fast became leader in all east Block window film retailer. But that was not enough to company founder, and real funky business creator Leonard F. Yankelovich. Idea of own product was his aim. First window films was created in Soviet Union at 1959. It was polyester film with no glue but coated with aluminium powder. Using same technology that was used for famous Sputnik coating soviet scientists invented special film for cosmic center window covering. Later this films was also used at military and other secret building. But – believe it or not – lot of civil building have exact films, which save people from sun and heat. Of course You will ask how? How secret product which was invented for space and military was used on private and civil objects….Reply is plain and easy – You must be soviet to understand and. At 1962 coating machine factory was launched in Riga. Same year window film manufacturing was launched. So at 2009 we all can celebrate 50-th Aniversary of Solar Window Film Era which was born because of Soviet Cosmic Programm. So at the beginning of the Millenium DARTZ start active work on own window film. As a parallel work we manufactured bank equipment and made car conversions. But own window film was our aim. At th same time asian manufacturers start make their window films, but for the first time quality was not good enough to compete with higher quality products from USA. Because of technology. And – YES! Decision was find. At early 2003 DARTSFILMZ.TV brand was launched. Born in middle of the century soviet window films was reincarnated exact after Millenium! That was success. Yes, it was reincarnated far from Motherland – but that’s modern life. We have to look for the best decision to make highest quality product which will compete old market players not only with price or marketing, but also with quality.
