SOLAR CONTROL WINDOW FILMS - LET'S CONTROL STAR ENERGY

Light and heat from the sun entering into conservatories and sun rooms – normally wonderful additions to our homes – makes us feel warm, happy and in connection with the natural world out in our garden.

The problem: You have just had your new conservatory or sun room built – but, even in the mild sun of early spring, the inside temperature can make it impossible to enjoy the conservatory.
You could use blinds, but blinds do not keep

the heat out.  Besides, blinds are expensive, collect dirt and dead insects, and require maintenance.  You could have air conditioning installed but this is also expensive and, although effective, the extra energy needed costs you more money – and adds more carbon dioxide to the atmosphere, which amplifies global warming.

The solution: High performance window film offers a cost-effective solution – because the film prevents solar energy entering your conservatory or sun room!

Figure:

Reducing overheating

Window film prevents solar energy passing through the glazing of your conservatory or sun room by reflecting the solar energy back to the outside; in addition, window film reduces the amount of solar energy directly transmitted to more comfortable levels.  You should also look for the Total Solar Energy Rejection because this tells you what happens to all the solar energy reaching the glazing.  Finally, it is important to remember that glazed roofs are almost always the major area of glazing that needs treatment.
Ask for window films by the performance they provide.  Although performance data will vary according to the glazing system you have, in general, look for the following:

  • Direct Solar Reflection of 30 % or more – the higher the better
  • Direct Solar Transmission of 40 % or less – the lower the better
  • Total Solar Energy Rejection of 55 % or more – the higher the better
  • Visible Light Transmission of 35 % or less – lower visible light transmission also provides better glare reduction; the most popular type of solar control film has about 15 % visible light transmission

DARTSFILMZ.TV provide many types of Soalr Control and Heat Rejection Window films, which are different in their color, outlook and technical data's - but always highest quality, as technology we used was tested in outer space since 1959.
